Simonds Photographic is an online retailer, but we also have a real store located in East Hartford, Connecticut. We have a telephone that we actually use to converse with customers, though we'd rather meet them in person.

Simonds Photographic continues to support traditional photography as well. We are dealers of select film camera systems, light meters, filters, gadget bags, and much more. We can satisfy the needs of studio photographers with lighting, seamless papers, muslins, stand sets, booms, clamps, gels, and so forth. Wedding and media photographers appreciate our selection of flash brackets, portable flash kits, and background setups. We also stock items that are essential to the outdoor photographer, including ballheads and tripods. If working in the darkroom is your passion, we offer enlargers, easels, timers, trays, processing tanks, and all sorts of other useful accessories. We are a stockhouse for consumables such as film, black-and-white and color papers and chemistry, E-6 chemistry, and materials for historical processes. We also have an ever-changing stock of used cameras.
While we specialize in the sale of photography equipment, supplies, and film, we also have the largest photo rental department between Boston and New York City. Our rental department supplies you with all the necessary equipment you need on a short term basis: cameras, lenses, projectors, screens, lighting systems, and tripods.
